Hillside Developments is a family-owned and operated real estate developer and West Vancouver’s leading luxury custom home builder for over 15 years.

Our Story
Our story begins in Iran, where our patriarch, Ali Kazemzadeh started his career building houses in his home country. He brought his knowledge and experience in residential construction with him when he immigrated to Canada and continued building houses, doing much of the trades work himself at the beginning. After settling in West Vancouver, Hillside Developments was born and his two sons, Farid and Hamid, joined the business. More than 15 years later, Hillside Developments has grown considerably but remains a local family-run business operating in West Vancouver.

Meet Our Team
Ali Kazemzadeh
Founder & Managing Partner
Ali is our founder, family patriarch, and the heart and soul of Hillside Developments. With decades of industry experience under his belt, Ali is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to construction. He maintains a wide network of trade professionals that he considers family who help bring your projects to life. To this day, Ali remains very hands-on with all of our projects.
Farid Kazemzadeh
Managing Partner
As Hillside’s Managing Partner and Project Manager, Farid is a natural-born planner and a true manager at heart.
Farid is passionate about construction and design and enjoys watching Hillside projects come to life and transform from a simple concept to your dream home. In his spare time, Farid loves participating in sports.
Hamid Kazemzadeh
Operations Manager
Hamid is responsible for overseeing all of our in-house operations at Hillside Developments and is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to the technical side of new-home construction. Outside of the business, Hamid enjoys playing pickleball and basketball.
